Earring Trinket Box

I was browsing through a store looking for ways to store my bountiful number of earrings when I saw a small wooden box. I thought, 'maybe I can make it,' and this is how it got on this post. :)

You can leave space on the side for necklaces or hairpins

Thank you for visiting!

Fathers Day Card

Hey Guys! I wanted to show you really quick what kind of card I made for Fathers day.
This was really easy to make: I basically used a card base and added scrapbook paper on top, Then I distressed it with Tim Holts Walnut Stain and made the edges rough using a paper distressed, you can also use scissors. Then I punched out two little leaves and also distressed with the same ink and glued them in the corners using double sided tape. Then I wrote Happy Fathers Day on card stock, traced it with a sharpie and cut it out. Then I distressed it with ink and Ta-Da! Its done!

Try to make something hand-made for your dad and show him how much you care through that!

Spring Banner

Hello there! I'm back with another easy DIY, this time for spring. This is a really fun and creative DIY because its paintable so your kids can join in too!
This is a banner made form and with:
Card stock
Twine/String
Paint
Mini Clothespins
Paint Brushes

The first thing that you have to do is cut your paper.
I had 2 8.5"x11" pieces of card stock and I cut them into 4 pieces.

Next, you will have to draw your letters.
You can choose other words like Easter, Summer etc.

After that, all you have to do is paint outside the letter.
I chose to do different designs, but you can stick to one design.

Then, go over the letter itself in one color, mine is white.
I gave it 2 coats, and then outlined it with a black marker.

After the paint was all dry, I took some twine and I attached the paper to the twine with mini clothespins I got from Target.

Now all you have to do is hang it up and enjoy your artwork!

Valentine's Day Room Decor!

It's finally up! Here I made some easy DIY's for you guys for Valentines Day so without further ado(how do you even spell that?) lets begin!

Heart Banner and Paper Heart Doilies
Cute Candle Holder
Target Banner

Store-Bought Banner:

I bought this at Target a couple years ago, but they still have things like this there. This came in such a way that you had to assemble it yourself, like sticking the letters on and stringing the squares.

Paper Heart Doilies:

I bought these at the dollar store ( Dollar Tree ) and these are really easy to decorate with. You could stick these on walls with tape or make a banner with them by taping them together in a row.

Bowl with Flameless Candle:

This is just a cheap fishbowl that I had, (or you could use a big vase) and I put red tissue paper in it , stuck the flameless candle in it, and I had these heart sticks that I got at Dollar Tree, so I arranged them in the bowl.

Paper Tissue Strips Bowl:

This is a really easy project:)
All you need to do is cut strips of tissue paper /\you can see there are two pictures\/ which means you can double the strips to make them look more vibrant.:)
Then you will paint a line of ModPodge or Glue on the place where you want your tissue paper to be, you could do different designs, and then start laying the tissue down on the glue
Then go around the whole circle. You also want to cover the strips in several layers of glue. also, you can do different colors of paper.
As you can see, this was very easy and turns out a really cute project!
